Heather E. Pogue is a designer who has chosen architecture as her primary medium. Her commitment to the architectural field began with an undergraduate degree in Environmental Design from Texas A&M University where she developed a strong visceral connection to materiality and became a steward of the vernacular, both fueled by the harsh Texas climate. Wanting to test these principles in a different, but just as harsh landscape, Heather continued with a Master of Architecture at University of Colorado Denver.

Currently, Heather has made a move to the Northwest and settled in Seattle. The city not only shares her love of craft in design, but also invests heavily in public art and creating culturally vibrant public spaces while highly valuing community involvement.

She is the founder of www.seattledensity.com and regularly updates with posts that track construction and development of urban projects in the city.
